Brujos climb past Santos, finish first in divison to earn playoff berth.

What a difference a season makes. A season after going winless in their division, the NM Brujos completed an amazing turnaround with a hard fought 41 to 38 victory over the Santa Fe Santos. The down to the wire win not only ensured a playoff berth for the Brujos, it left them in first place in the Rio Grande Men’s Division III for the 2018/2019 season. A hat trick from Travis Smith and the sure foot of Jeff Smolensky were just a few of the highlights of this thriller, a game that will long be remembered by players and fans alike. The next stop for this Brujos team is the Pacific South Men’s Division III playoffs and a match with the second place finisher from the Arizona Division in two weeks. While the Brujos story for 2018/2019 isn't quite yet complete, this plum of a season is truly something to step back and take a moment to enjoy. Que Viva!
