NM Brujos ice El Paso 36 to 15, clinch playoff spot in Santa Fe in two weeks! Sisters carwash fundraiser! Spring practice continues!
On an absolutely frigid day the New Mexico Brujos shrugged off the polar temps and played with ice in their veins on their way to a physical 36 to 15 victory over the visiting El Paso Scorpions. Even with swirling winds gusting in the 50 mph range the NM Brujos managed 3 very unlikely conversions. The victory, dubbed on the sidelines as the battle of Lottaburger vs Whataburger, clinched a playoff spot for the Brujos in two weeks in Santa Fe. Depending on the outcome of this weekend's Santa Fe at El Paso, the Brujos will either play Tucson or Scottsdale in the first round of the SW Rugby Union playoffs on April 20th. More details about the Brujos first round playoff match will no doubt be more clear next week so stay tuned to the #1 rugby blog in NM for more information.

Spring practice continues!
The NM Brujos Spring SW Rugby Union season may be over but the playoffs are in two weeks so it's more important than ever to get out to practice and stay sharp!
NM Brujos Spring rugby practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM at UNM Johnson Field, located at 2401 Redondo Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
New Players and all skill levels are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.
