NEW MEXICO BRUJOS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

Rugby practice has returned! Now that actual, real life rugby matches seem like a real possibility, the time has come to resume Brujos rugby practice. Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at USS Bullhead Park. All practices will follow strict covid safe and social distancing guidelines, and individuals can opt out of any drill or exercise as they see fit. Normally the on the first day of spring the New Mexico Rugby season is already in full swing. While obviously not the case this year because of the still ongoing covid-19 pandemic, that didn't stop local rugby from making an impact on Albuquerque's parks. Last Saturday, March the 20th, the New Mexico Brujos and the Atomic Sisters once again pitched in to help clean up USS Bullhead park in Southeast Albuquerque. As Brujos fans and faithful readers of this blog know by now, earlier this year the New Mexico Brujos adopted Bullhead Park in Southeast Albuquerque. As part of being the proud adoptive parents of this little stretch of the city the NM Brujos and their friends the Atomic Sisters have scheduled another park clean up for this Saturday, March 20th at 1 PM. For the last three weeks Albuquerque Youth Rugby has posted a video showcasing a skill for the week (different for each age group). Participants submitted videos performing the skills by the following Thursday to ABQrugby@gmail.com or by sharing on social media (Facebook or Instagram) and tagging AYRU.
