The New Mexico Brujos 40th Anniversary weekend is finally here! This weekends festivities to include:
2021 Wizardfest. Saturday, September 18th, 6 PM
Join the NM Brujos as they celebrate their 40th anniversary as a club for a very special Wizardfest on Saturday, September 18th, at 6PM at Salt Yard, 6001 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. For those unfamiliar with Wizardfest, it's the annual formal event (also know as rugby prom) in which the club celebrates the previous year's achievements and follies. This years very special Wizardfest will feature lifetime achievement awards and the inaugural New Mexico Brujos hall of fame class. Tickets for Wizardfest are $65
NM Brujos Golf Tournament and Kangaroo Court Friday September 17th.
Fore! As part of the New Mexico Brujos 40th Anniversary Celebration this September please join the Brujos on Friday September 17th for the Brujos Golf tournament at beautiful Los Altos Golf Course. The tournament is is best ball with shotgun starts beginning at 8:15. There will be prizes for longest drive, worst shot, closest to pin as well as gift bags and other assorted shenanigans. $125 per player or $500 per team.
Kangaroo court for active and past members to follow at Los altos Golf Course at 3 PM.

"Old Boys" match and Brujos vs Aardvarks, Saturday, September 18th
As part of the New Mexico Brujos 40th anniversary celebration this September please join the Brujos on September 18th for 3 very special events. The day kicks off at noon at Phil Chacon field with an Old Boys only match. The match will quarterly play and rolling subs. Following the old boys match watch the current NM Brujos take on the their inter-city rivals the Albuquerque Aardvarks in a Rio Grande Rugby Union match.
Fall practice continues!
With the Brujos fall season that includes the aforementioned 40th anniversary match against the Aardvarks and more, finally here at last, it's more important than ever to get out to practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7 at Phil Chacon field south. For those unfamiliar with Phil Chacon south field the best way to get their is to turn east on Kathryn off of Louisiana and then park in the south parking lot. The field is south of the parking lot. All practices will follow strict covid safe and social distancing guidelines, and individuals can opt out of any drill or exercise as they see fit. Please bring cleats, water and a mask, and please fill out the health check form on the website before every practice!
