It's here at last! This Saturday, January 22nd, get ready for the the long awaited return of Rugby is a Drag (show!) Dust off your dancing cleats! After a year off due to the Covid epidemic, the New Mexico Brujos and their friends at the NM Black Cat Cultural & Community Center are more than pleased to announce that the very popular Rugby is a Drag (show!) and fundraiser will be returning for a fifth year on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. Formerly held at Sidewinders, the show on Saturday will be making it's debut at the new NM Black Cat Cultural & Community Center, and, as in year's past, will benefit our friends at Casa Q. Casa Q provides safe living for LGBTQ+ youth through housing, services and advocacy. The NM Brujos are also thrilled to announce that the fabulous La Saveona Hunt will be returning to host the whole shebang!

(Note: Tickets are will call only this year, so when you purchase your ticket on the Brujos online store you have to download the event flyer in order to "purchase" the ticket, this helps avoid what e-commerce sites consider shipping fees. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or difficulties).

Spring Practice Returns

The 2022 Rio Grande Rugby Union spring season is upon us (more on that below!) and that means it's practice time! NM Brujos practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM at Johnson Field.

New Players are always welcome!

All practices will follow strict covid safe and social distancing guidelines, and individuals can opt out of any drill or exercise as they see fit. Please bring cleats, water and a mask, and please fill out the health check form on the webpage: before every practice! This is important as the safer and more transparent we are as a team, the sooner we get to things going back to normal or something resembling normal. We are all in this together, so let's return to rugby safe and smart.
