NM Brujos Welcome New Coaching Staff; Fall Practice Gets New Location; Golf Tournament Sponsorships Now Available and More

Two veteran Brujos step to train the defending SW Rugby champions.


When the defending SW Rugby champions step onto the pitch this fall there'll be two familiar faces leading them on the sidelines.


Meet the coaching staff leading the Brujos this season:


  • Coach Michael Merrell brings over two decades of rugby experience, having played nationwide since 1999 across nearly every position on the pitch. A former Brujo player of eight years (2013–2021), Michael previously led the Atomic Sisters to an undefeated season in 2020.

  • Coach Sean Callahan has been part of the Brujos community for 13 years. Dedicated to the club's culture of competitive play and community, Sean focuses on driving team success while maintaining a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels.


With these two seasoned former players at the helm, no telling how far the team can go this season. Que Viva!

Fall Practice Lands at New Spot


With a loaded fall tournament schedule and a SW Rugby title to defend next spring, it's more important than ever to get to practice.


Fall practice is at a new, yet familiar location.

​

Until further notice fall practice is every Saturday at 10 a.m. at Vista del Norte Park.

 

New Players and all skill levels are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.

Brujos Golf Tournament Sponsorships Now Available

Please join the Brujos on Friday, October 2, for the 2026 Brujos Golf tournament at the beautiful Los Altos Golf Course. The tournament is best ball with shotgun starts beginning at 9 AM


There will be prizes for longest drive, worst shot, closest to pin as well as gift bags and other assorted shenanigans.

This is one of the Brujos biggest fundraisers of the year so please consider participating in some way.

 

The New Mexico Brujos are a 501- 3 -C non-profit organization so your green fee/donation is tax deductible.
