NM Brujos to host SF Santos in Rio Rancho this Saturday at 3 PM to cap full day of west side rugby.

Living up to the "New Mexico" part of their New Mexico Brujos moniker, the Brujos will again once swap Albuquerque for Rio Rancho as they host a home game in the "city of vision" this weekend when they welcome the Santa Fe Santos this Saturday at 3 PM. Coming off a 55 to 14 loss to the ABQ aardvarks two weeks ago the NM Brujos will look to get back into the win column this Saturday. The 3 PM match will cap a full day of local rugby at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex (more on that below). The Brujos are one and one on the season but yet to grab a victory in what's perhaps becoming their new home pitch across the river; so come out, dress warm, and root for the boys in blue! Que viva!

What: New Mexico Brujos vs Santa Fe Santos

When: Saturday, March 12th, 2022

Where: Rio Rancho Sports Complex, 3501 High Resort Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144

Another Rugby Saturday in Rio Rancho!

As mentioned above, the NM Brujos and ABQ Varks match is just one of the many rugby related events taking place at the Rio Rancho sports complex this Saturday.

The day's events kick off at 9 AM with youth and high school rugby.

The Atomic Sisters Women's Rugby team take the field at 11 AM to take on the visiting OP.

More High school rugby to follow from 12:30 to 3 PM, with the NM Brujos vs SF Santos match capping everything off at 3 PM.

Reminder for the Rio Rancho Sports Complex: Pets must be kept on leash, no glass allowed on the field. Please obey park rules! Parks and Rec will be present to enforce.

This promises to be a fun filled day of rugby, don't miss it!

Spring Practice Continues!

With all the rugby in the air it's more important than ever to get to practice! NM Brujos practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM at Johnson Field.

New Players are always welcome!

All practices will follow strict covid safe and social distancing guidelines, and individuals can opt out of any drill or exercise as they see fit. Please bring cleats, water and a mask, and please fill out the health check form on the webpage: https://www.brujosrugby.com/brujos-player-health-check before every practice! This is important as the safer and more transparent we are as a team, the sooner we get to things going back to normal or something resembling normal. We are all in this together, so let's return to rugby safe and smart.
