NM Brujos lose rematch with Santa Fe, play ABQ Aardvarks at 2 PM this Saturday in Rio Rancho.
Two weeks after a hard fought win over the Santos on their new west-side home pitch in Rio Rancho, the New Mexico Brujos didn't find Santa Fe to be as friendly as the host Santos repaid the favor beating the visiting Brujos in a high scoring affair 39 to 27. With only two games in the Spring season remaining the NM Brujos will look to stay in the playoff race as they host their crosstown rivals the ABQ Aardvarks this Saturday, April 2nd, in Rio Rancho at 2 PM. The Brujos and Varks game is part of yet another day of rugby in Rio Rancho (more on that below). The spring season is almost over, the weather is getting warmer, so now's the perfect time to get out and cheer on the boys in blue! Que viva!

Rugby Saturday in Rio Rancho!
As mentioned above, the NM Brujos and ABQ Varks match is just one of the many rugby related events taking place at the Rio Rancho sports complex this Saturday.
The day's events kick off at 9 AM with youth and high school rugby going all day until the Brujos and Varks at 2 PM.
Following the Brujos and Varks match, the Atomic Sisters are hosting Vegas at 4 PM.
Reminder for the Rio Rancho Sports Complex: Pets must be kept on leash, no glass allowed on the field. Please obey park rules! Parks and Rec will be present to enforce. This promises to be a fun filled day of rugby, don't miss it!

Spring Practice Continues!
Hard to believe, but there are only two matches left in the 2022 Spring season. With the Rio Grande Rugby Union playoffs on the horizon it's more important than ever to get to practice! NM Brujos practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM at Johnson Field.
New Players are always welcome!
All practices will follow strict covid safe and social distancing guidelines, and individuals can opt out of any drill or exercise as they see fit. This is important as the safer and more transparent we are as a team, the sooner we get to things going back to normal or something resembling normal.
