High Desert 15s Rugby Tournament this weekend at Bullhead Park! NM Brujos defending champs!

As October draws to a close so does the 2021 Fall rugby season. The New Mexico Brujos will close out their 2021 fall season at the High Desert Classic, this Saturday, October 30th at Bullhead Park in Southeast Albuquerque. The High Desert Classic is a 15s Rugby Tournament featuring Mens, Womens, and Collegiate Divisions. The New Mexico Brujos are the defending champions of this tournament having won the tournament the last time it was played in 2019, and the year before they lost a tie-breaking boat race for the title. The Brujos have an exciting recent history in this tournament they hope to repeat in 2021!

Last Fall practice of the year!

With their final matches of the fall season at this Saturday's High Desert 15s tournament, of which the Brujos are defending champs, it's more important than ever to get out to the final practice of the fall season this Thursday from 5:30 to 7 at Phil Chacon field south. For those unfamiliar with Phil Chacon south field the best way to get their is to turn east on Kathryn off of Louisiana and then park in the south parking lot. The field is south of the parking lot. All practices will follow strict covid safe and social distancing guidelines, and individuals can opt out of any drill or exercise as they see fit. Please bring cleats, water and a mask, and please fill out the health check form on the website before every practice!
