Brujos take 2nd at Sun City 7s! Saturday touch and fitness! AYRU Car Wash Fundraiser this Saturday!
The New Mexico Brujos didn't quite come home with the grand (literally) prize at Sun City 7s in sunny El Paso last Saturday. However, the boys in blue did ride an impressive tournament showing to a 2nd place finish beating the tournament host El Paso Scorpions on their way to an eventual loss to the ABQ Aardvarks in the tournament final. Thanks to El Paso Scorpions for hosting a great 7s tournament and social afterward and to everyone that made the trip down to El Paso to support New Mexico and Southwest Rugby! Que viva!
Summer practice and Saturday touch continues!
The 2023 Spring season and the 2023 Celtic 7s tournament are in the rear-view mirror, but there's still plenty of Summer rugby coming up.
Sevens tournaments, friendlies, and overall just staying sharp for the Fall season.
Which means it's still important to get out to New Mexico Brujos rugby practice!
For the Summer season, NM Brujos practice is every Thursday starting at 6 PM!

New Players are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.
In addition there's touch practice every Saturday at Johnson field starting at 10 AM. Come by, get a run in and play touch with rugby players from around the city and state!

AYRU NAI7s Carwash fundraiser this Saturday!
Coming off a strong showing in Boulder last weekend, the Albuquerque Youth Rugby Desert Warriors are heading to NAI7s in Salt Lake City and need your help! AYRU is taking U18 Boys and Girls teams, U16 Boys and U14 Boys.That's a lot of youth rugby representing NM, so show your support for NM and ABQ youth rugby and get your washed in the process. AYRU Desert Warriors are hosting a NAI7s fundraiser at Geckos on Academy, at 5801 Academy Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 this Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
