Brujos to co-host Southwest #PrideInRugby Fiesta next weekend, Important Brujos Facebook Group Infor

The New Mexico Brujos are excited to announce that they are partnering with Phoenix Storm, Colorado Rush, and the Dallas Diablos for the very first Southwest #PrideInRugby Fiesta. Next weekend, in the shadow of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta four IGR Teams will converge in the Land of Enchantment, for a friendly tournament called the Southwest #PRIDEINRUGBY Fiesta in celebration of the upcoming 20th year of IGR! On Saturday, October 5th the New Mexico Brujos RFC, Phoenix Storm RFC, Dallas Diablos RFC, and Colorado Rush RFC will ruck it out to find who is the best of the Southwest! The tournament is scheduled to be played at Phil Chacon fields, stay tuned to your favorite rugby blog for the match schedule.

Important changes coming to the Brujos Facebook Group

In the coming weeks the Brujos Facebook Group which can be found here, (not to be confused with the regular Brujos Facebook page, found here) will be exclusively for current members of the team. The feeling is that active team members need a place that is solely for their use regarding things like practice, scheduling rides to upcoming games, and just all around team business. So if you aren't a current member of the Brujos and suddenly find yourself not a member of the Facebook group, that is by design. Former members of the Brujos, board members, and most importantly, fans of the team are encoraged to continue using the Brujos facebook page to express their love and admiration of all things Blue Magic. If former Brujos are interested in an Alumni page or something along those lines, please contact me.

Fall Practice Continues

Just a reminder that practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays at UNM's Johnson Field. Practice starts at 6 PM, that means cleats on and ready to go at 6 PM! Everyone is welcome, all levels of rugby experience! No matter if this will be your first look at rugby or your 50th season, we want you going out to practice with the NM Brujos RFC. Bring a friend along! All you need is some athletic wear and soccer style cleats. And water of course, don't forget water!
