On a cloudless day at UNM's Johnson Field, crosstown rivals the NM Brujos and Abq Aardvarks played a hard fought match that came down to the final minutes. Ultimately a late try by the Varks would prove to be the difference as the Brujos fells to the Varks 19 to 15. Dasante Browne and Khan Muhammad each found the try zone for the Brujos.
Next Up: The Brujos will try to finish the 2018 Fall rugby union season on a high note when they host the El Paso Scorpions on October 27th.
In addition the Brujos will be participating in the annual(ish) High Desert Rugby Classic, October 20, 2018 at Bullhead Park, and will potentially be traveling to Flagstaff next weekend to participate in the 38th Annual 10's Tournament hosted by the N.A.R.F.C Landsharks and Lady Landsharks.
