Save the Date! Wizardfest 2024 is coming together!
It's time to celebrate! Join the New Mexico Brujos for the 2024 Wizardfest (AKA Rugby Prom), and celebrate the past year in Brujos rugby and honor the stand out players and dubious events that made the 2024 season one to remember. This year's ceremony will feature NM Brujos hall of fame inductions, player awards and more!
Once again this year's event is being held at our great sponsor Sobremesa Restaurant and Brewery located at 3421 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120
Festivities begin at 5 PM.
Tickets will go on sale and the end of May/early June so stay tuned!
Atomic Sisters announce June Tournament and Wednesday Touch!
The Atomic Sisters are excited to be partnering with Adedar Africa to host the Beauty and the Pitch 7s Tournament this year! On June 29th, join the Sisters in Albuquerque for an all-women tournament with high school and adult divisions. This tournament is a fundraiser to support Adedar’s mission of empowering grassroots organizations around the world increasing access to rugby for women and girls. Sign up via the link in their bio!
Wednesday Touch!
While the New Mexico Brujos Summer plans begin to take shape please join them, members of the Atomic Sisters and other local rugby players for touch rugby practice every Wednesday at UNM's Johnson Field at 5:30 PM.
New Players and all skill levels are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.
Santos playoff results!
Our friends and in-state rivals the Santa Fe Santos had mixed results in the Pacific Regional playoffs last weekend winning their semi-final game against Beach Cities 73-32 before falling in dramatic fashion on a late try in the final minutes against Colusa County 57 - 53 in the finals. Still they did NM proud this season, way to go Santos!
