Rio Grande Celtic 7s Rugby Tournament registration now open, sign up today!

For the 20th straight year, the Rio Grande Celtic Sevens Rugby Tournament returns as part of the Rio Grande Celtic Festival's Scottish Highland Games. Situated against the stunning backdrop of the Sandia Mountains, this unique rugby tournament is a perfect opportunity to get your 7s team ready for summer qualifiers or bring your social 7s team out for a fun day of rugby and Celtic entertainment. This years festivities take place at the excellent facilities of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Park, featuring convenient parking, and lots of activities between games; including the Highland Scottish Athletic Competition, a 21 and over beer garden, multiple stages featuring Celtic music, piping, and dancing, and plenty of great food and drink. There will be cash prizes and unique trophies for the top teams, a Rhino's Match for the big guys (top 20 players by weight in an exhibition match.) and a Celtic Warrior Women Match (Costumed women in an exhibition match.) Once again this tournament promises to be the premiere rugby event in the Southwest, and one you and your team won't want to miss.
