Brujos fall to Aardvarks in Spring finale.

On a perfect spring Saturday for rugby, the Brujos were strong up the middle in the first half, but ultimately saw their spring season come to an end at the hands of the Albuquerque Aardvarks 51-19. Despite a couple of impressive first half trys that seemed to be signaling a momentum change, the crosstown rival Aardvarks proved to be too quick around the edges for a Brujos team that saw more than their fair share of injuries. The tough loss dropped the Brujos to 2 and 3 for the spring season. Both the Aardvarks and the Santa Fe Santos advanced to the playoffs.

Next up for the Brujos: The 19th Annual Rio Grande Celtic 7s Rugby Tournament, May 20th, 2017 @ Balloon Fiesta Park.
