New Mexico Brujos look ahead to upcoming summer tournaments after another successful sand tournament
Another sandy success in the books! The 2026 Sandia Sandstorm tournament was a rollicking, sunny blast last Saturday. The Brujos took home the hardware from their own tournament, besting Santa Fe in a hard fought final.
A hardy thanks you to all the teams that showed up to play; the Fancy Fellows, El Paso, the Atomic Sisters, the Cd Juarez Gallos, the runner-up Santos, and everyone that whored on, refed or helped out in any way.
A huge thanks you to the hosts with the most, Duke City Beaches. We can't wait to do it again next year!
Brujos 2026 Summer Schedule
With Sandstorm in the books, the New Mexico Brujos turn their attention to the rest of their 2026 summer schedule beginning with the Cowpie Classic in two weeks on July 18 in Steamboat Springs, CO.
After that the Brujos will head south to El Paso for the Sun City 7s on August 15.
The Brujos will finish up their summer slate on Labor Day weekend at the Santa Fe 10s on September 6.

Off-Season Touch/Practice Continues at New Location
The dream season may be over but the dream still lives, next season looms and that means staying sharp, even when we're having fun doing it!
Off-season touch rugby with our good friends the Atomic Sisters is every Wednesday at 5:30 at UNM Johnson Field.
New Players and all skill levels are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.
