NM Brujos take 2nd at Atomic Sisters' tournament in Fall finale. Union matches resume in Spring 2025. AYRU Rookie Rugby clinics every Saturday in November leading up to Turkey Touch.

That's a wrap! Last Saturday the New Mexico Brujos concluded their Fall playing schedule with a second place finish at the Atomic Sisters' annual Autumn 10s tournament. The NM Brujos went 2 and 1 at beautiful Balloon Fiesta Field , which provided an amazing backdrop as usual for Albuquerque Rugby, losing narrowly to eventual tournament champ on the men's side, the Colorado Springs Grizzlies. On the women's side the Colorado Grey Wolves took home the hardware edging out Phoenix Women's Rugby who took home second place honors. With their 2nd place finish the Brujos have finished their competitive Rugby for the year and will resume their Rio Grande Union Rugby schedule in Spring 2025. The Fall of 2024 saw the Brujos hit some highs and lows and even saw them take home some hardware from the High Desert Tournament in October. The conclusion of their Fall schedule however doesn't mean an end to rugby activities this Fall and Winter. Rookie rugby and Turkey Touch (more on that below), late Fall and Winter practice, holiday drives, the return of the Brujos Drag Show, the Suberbowl Fat Run, and much more are all on the horizon these next few months. So stay tuned to your favorite local rugby blog for all the juicy details on what's next for the Brujos and thanks to everyone that supported us this Fall. We'll see you sooner than later! Que viva!
