High Desert Classic 15s Rugby Tournament this Saturday, Oct 29th! New NM Brujos Practice Location!
Fall Rugby is on the move in Albuquerque! From the NM Brujos new practice location (more on that bellow) to this weekend's High Desert Classic Rugby Tournament, change is nothing to spooked by during the last week of October!
First up is this weekend's High Desert Classic 15's Rugby Tournament. The 50th edition of this annual tournament is headed to a new location at vista Del Norte Park located at 1005 Osuna Rd NE Albuquerque, NM 87113. Long associated with South East Albuquerque's Bullhead park, this year's installment is breaking new ground at its new location in far North East ABQ. The High Desert Classic is always a good time and Halloween costumes usually abound, so dress up and head out on Saturday for some rugby and seasonal hijinks!

NM Brujos Rugby Practice has moved!!!!
It's getting darker earlier and with the time change right around the corner (fall back people!) it's time to take NM Brujos rugby practice under the lights! Until further notice Tuesday and Thursday rugby practice is moved to UNM's Johnson Field located at 2401 Redondo Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 East of Johnson Gym.
NM Brujos practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM
New Players are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.
AYRU Announces Turkey Touch 22
It's never to early to start putting late Fall/Winter rugby event dates on your calendar, and Albuquerque Youth Rugby has announced the date for this year's Turkey Touch Tournament. This year's tournament will take place on November 26th at 9 AM at North Domingo Baca Park. For more information as well as the registration link and team rules, please check back on the AYRU facebook page.
In addition AYRU will be running rookie rugby clinics every Saturday in November, November 5th, 12th, and 19th! Registration will be going up soon! Cost is only $10 for the 3 weeks! Ages 7- 19! Come learn and grow with this great sport!
