Foothills Fat Boy Run for Charity Returns this Saturday; Sandia Sandstorm Tournament Registration Now Open, Sponsorships Available; Wizard Fest 2026 Date Set and More

 Annual charity run for mental health awareness was rescheduled from it's original date.

The annual New Mexico Brujos Fat Boy Run is returning this Saturday! Just in time for the start of the summer rugby season, this run started years ago as a fun way to knock the winter fat off in anticipation of the season. We’ve since turned it into a fundraiser for mental health awareness. Please join us for the “hash” style run.

Originally scheduled for late winter, this one might be a little toasty, so please bring water and good sun protection.

Event starts at 9 AM this Saturday, May 30 at the Embudo trailhead at the top of Indian School rd.

2026 Sandia Sandstorm 5 on 5 Tournament Registration Now Open; Sponsorships Available

The New Mexico Brujos are playing in the sand again this summer and all their friends are invited!

Registration for the 2026 New Mexico Brujos 5 on 5 Sandia Sandstorm Tournament, scheduled for June 27 at the Duke City Beaches, is now open!

Last year was a fabulous time at an amazing location, with men's and women's brackets and this year is gonna be even better!

And early-bird registration for a 12 person team is only $250!​

Put on your dancing cleats and your formal speedos, it's time to celebrate a dream season! Join the New Mexico Brujos for the 2026 Wizard Fest (AKA Rugby Prom), on Saturday, June 13 and celebrate the past year in Brujos rugby and honor the stand out players and dubious events that made the 2026 season one for the books! This year's ceremony will feature NM Brujos hall of fame inductions, player awards and more!

This year's event is being held at Hollow Spirits Distillery
