The New Mexico Brujos give visiting Scottsdale the blues as they limped to a convincing victory ahead of a road match against Tucson this weekend
Nobody said being unbeaten was easy. With four substitutions before halftime on Saturday, one might be surprised at the final score, but the NM Brujos once again found a way into the win column, beating Scottsdale 44 to 26. Riding a early 10 - 0 lead the Brujos looked in control early, but a pair of costly injuries and two more substitutions before half opened the door for Scottsdale to get back into the game, with both teams trading trys until the Brujos put on a late run to put away the game in the second half.
The win gave the NM Brujos their 5th victory of the spring, and left them undefeated in RGRU play and in control of their playoff hopes ahead of a visit to Tucson this Saturday.
