Only three weeks till the fabulousness returns!
Dust off those platform cleats and start bedazzling those rugby shorts, Rugby is a Drag is returning to the main stage next January! That's right everyone's favorite fabulous festivity is scheduled for Saturday, January 31st, 2026. And once again it will benefit our good friends at Casa Q.
Casa Q provides safe living for LGBTQ+ youth through housing, services and advocacy.
This year's fabulous festivities kick off on Saturday, January 31st!
Event is 21 and up!

New Mexico Brujos spring schedule released
The first full week of the new year is here and it's time to start thinking about the spring 2026 schedule! This spring is shaping up to be a busy one with all the Brujos RGRU matches being played on this side of the calendar. The spring kicks off on January 16th and 17th with Trevor Cup weekend featuring scrimmages against the Highwaymen.
The RGRU kicks off the following weekend against our visiting crosstown rivals the ABQ Aardvarks. On February 7th the Brujos head north to take the always tough Santa Fe Santos, before a return match at the Varks the next weekend. The Brujos are back on the road on February 21st against El Paso.
March begins with a home match on the 7th against visiting Scottsdale. The Brujos then hit the road, traveling to Tucson on the 14th.
The season concludes with two home matches against Santa Fe on March 28th and El Paso on April 4th. Locations and times for many many of these matches are still to be determined so bookmark the Brujos match page on our website for up to the minute information.
Saturday and Evening winter practice!
Winter practice is here!
With a busy spring schedule on the horizon, and matches nearly every weekend it's more important than ever to get in shape this winter!
That's why the Brujos are holding practice not once, but twice a week!
Saturday practice is every Saturday, at 10 AM at Vista del Norte Park, located at 1005 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113
In addition, the Brujos are having a weekly evening practice under the lights at Kramer Fields, located at 2811 Karsten Ct SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Evening practice is at 6 PM every Tuesday at 6 PM until the start of the Spring season.
