That's a wrap! Take a bow everyone because once again the New Mexico Brujos' Rugby is a Drag (Show) was a huge hit and raised over $1000 for Casa Q! This year's show saw 11 amazing performances with Rugby is a Drag debutante Hot CoCo (aka Cody) taking the crown as Miss Rugby is a Drag 2025 over former champ Anita Drink and perineal favorite OnlyCam. Thanks to all the performers, you all seriously killed it this year! Special thanks to our gracious hosts Sidewinders, our drag show host with the most and fellow rugger Truly SCRUMtious Cox, former NM Brujos President emeritus Adrian Perez for coming in to help us make the evening a fabulous success and last but certainly not least our 2025 Rugby is a Drag Director, Devon "Dirty" Sanchez for getting this whole thing off the ground in a short amount of time. Another round of thanks to all our sponsors for their generous donations. Lastly we couldn't have done this without the support of all our New Mexico Brujos teammates, wives and girlfriends, family and friends. Can't wait to do it again next year! Que Viva!
Superbowl Foothills Fat Run returns next month!
There's more than one way to get in shape for the upcoming 2025 Spring season! Dust off your trail running shoes and say goodbye to bulk season, it's time to cut weight and get shredded! The annual New Mexico Brujos Superbowl Fat Boy Run is returning next month! Just in time for the start of the Spring rugby season, this run started years ago as a fun way to knock the winter fat off in anticipation of the season. We’ve since turned it into a fundraiser for suicide awareness. Please join us for the “hash” style run.
It’s a race and there are drinking challenges set up in secret locations along the course.
Please bring a cash donation, $5 minimum.
Event starts at 9 AM on Superbowl Sunday, February 9th, 2025 at the Embudo trailhead at the top of Indian School rd.
NM Brujos 2025 Spring Schedule
Spring rugby is less than two short months away! It's a new year and it's time to look at what's ahead for the New Mexico Brujos 2025 Southwest Rugby Union Spring schedule.
The Brujos kick off the 2025 season with a home match against crosstown rivals The Albuquerque Aardvarks on . March 8th. The Brujos play their final home match of the Spring season the next week against the visiting El Paso Scorpions on March 15th. The following week it's the Aardvarks again on March 22nd, before finishing the Spring season with a trip to Santa Fe on March 29th.
There's also the possibility of some Spring friendlies or exhibition games so stay tuned to the New Mexico Brujos Spring 2024 Match schedule page for up to the minute schedule additions and changes
