NM Brujos Superbowl squares and foothills run! Spring practice has begun! Spring 2023 game schedule!
The big game is less than two weeks away so dust off your trail running shoes and say goodbye to bulk season, it's time to cut weight and get shredded! The annual New Mexico Brujos Superbowl Fat Boy Run is returning on Sunday, February 12th! Just in time for the start of the Spring rugby season, this run started years ago as a fun way to knock the winter fat off in anticipation of the season. We’ve since turned it into a fundraiser for suicide awareness. Please join us for the “hash” style run.
It’s a race and there are drinking challenges set up in secret locations along the course.
Please bring a cash donation, $5 minimum.
Event starts at 10 AM on Superbowl Sunday, February 12th, 2023 at the Embudo trailhead at the top of Indian School rd.
In addition to the run the NM Brujos are also doing squares for the big game!
Square numbers will be randomly chosen before the game. Good luck!
Brujos Spring Rugby practice has begun!
Hard to believe but February is already here, which means it's rugby month! The 2023 Spring Rio Grande Rugby Union season begins in four Saturdays and that means it's more important than ever to get out to NM Brujos Spring practice! The New Mexico Brujos Spring season begins on February 25th and runs through April 15th, but practice has already begun and regular attendance is key to a successful Spring campaign.
NM Brujos practice is every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 6 PM at UNM's Johnson Field located at 2401 Redondo Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 East of Johnson Gym.
New Players are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.

Brujos 2023 Spring Schedule Announced!
As mentioned above, the 2023 Spring Rio Grande Rugby Union season begins in less than a month! Building off the momentum of their Fall 2022 season that saw the Brujos traveling to a bunch of tournaments, the NM Brujos will need that away game energy for a spring schedule that sees them playing 3 road games. Luckily the Brujos start off the season with two home games, against the ABQ Varks and the Santa Fe Santos respectively, before hitting the road for 3 straight. Their big road campaign starts off at El Paso on March 11th. Remember that the Brujos actually began the 2022/23 RGRU season last fall with a home win against El Paso, putting them 1 and 0 on this season already. They then finish the season with matches at the Varks and finally traveling to Scottsdale on April 15th to finish the season.
