NM Brujos host El Paso Saturday in first cup match of the season! Rugby camp continues! Movember!
Let the 2022/23 Rio Grande Rugby Union season begin! The New Mexico Brujos kick off their first and only cup match of the Fall against the El Paso Scorpions this Saturday at 1 PM at Phil Chacon Field South. Having slipped past the Scorps just two weeks ago at High Desert, the NM Brujos will be looking to continue that trend and start their cup season off with a win. This will be their only cup match until the Spring, so it's imperative to bring out a big crowd Saturday to root on the boys in blue. Furthermore it's the last chance to see the Brujos in town this year, as their last action of the fall will see them traveling to AZ for another tournament in early December! The festivities begin at 1 with the social to follow at Monte Vista at 4!

NM Brujos Rugby Practice has moved!!!!
It's getting darker earlier and with the time change right around the corner (fall back people!) it's time to take NM Brujos rugby practice under the lights! Until further notice Tuesday and Thursday rugby practice is moved to UNM's Johnson Field located at 2401 Redondo Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106 East of Johnson Gym.
NM Brujos practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM
New Players are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.
AYRU Rookie Rugby Camps continue this Saturday!
AYRU will be running rookie rugby clinics for the next two Saturdays at North Domingo Baca Park, far east field. The clinics start at 9 and will finish by 11, but be there by 8.30 please. Onsite registration for only $10! Plus, every child gets a free ball! November 12th, and 19th! Cost is only $10 for the 2 weeks! Ages 7- 19! Come learn and grow with this great sport!

In addition, Albuquerque Youth Rugby has announced the date for this year's Turkey Touch Tournament. This year's tournament will take place on November 26th at 9 AM at North Domingo Baca Park. Movember Returns!
It's Movember time again! Movember is a cause that raises awesomeness of men's health and aims to reduce some of the biggest health crises that affect men, specifically mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Last year the New Mexico Brujos raised $275, but in past years have raised as much as $600! Let's see if we can top that this year!
Remember If you can't grow a mustache there are other ways to get involved. You can pledge to Movember every day during the month or you can just fundraise and pass on info. Whatever you can do, please do. Let's see those stashes BruMos!
