NM Brujos hold on to top El Paso, win 1st cup match of season! Practice changes! Rookie camp Sat!
On the tail end of a busy fall season the New Mexico Brujos sprung forward and got a leg up on the upcoming Rio Grande Rugby Union Season winning their first cup match. On a gorgeous but chilly autumn Saturday afternoon, the NM Brujos got out to a fast start and then held on to beat the visiting El Paso scorpions. Leading 31 to 14 at half, the Brujos then withstood a furious Scorpions rally in the second half, including an El Paso try in the last minutes of the game, and pulled out a 48 to 43 victory. The win puts the Brujos 1 and 0 on the 2022/23 RGRU season, which will continue with the bulk of its matches next spring. The Brujos will conclude their fall season with a trip to AZ for the Loudfest Rugby Tournament on December 3rd. Thanks to everyone that came out to support the boys in blue, see you all next spring! Que Viva!

It's Movember time again! Movember is a cause that raises awesomeness of men's health and aims to reduce some of the biggest health crises that affect men, specifically mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Last year the New Mexico Brujos raised $275, but in past years have raised as much as $600! Let's see if we can top that this year!
Remember If you can't grow a mustache there are other ways to get involved. You can pledge to Movember every day during the month or you can just fundraise and pass on info. Whatever you can do, please do. Let's see those stashes BruMos!
