The wait is over, the 2025 Sandia Sandstorm Rugby Tournament is here at last!
The New Mexico Brujos are excited to have you join us for what’s gonna be a great day of rugby, including live music, DJs, food, drinks, a yoga break, and other fun and games!
But first a little housekeeping.
Day of Tournament:
The first games are scheduled to kickoff at 12:30 on Saturday, July 26th, 2025. We anticipate that this will allow us to begin the championship match around 9 PM, under the lights. It’s gonna be cool, we promise.
The Captain's meeting will be at Noon sharp. Upon checking in all players must have signed the waiver, attached here.
Please pay before the day of the event to make the check in process as smooth as possible, Thank you!
Food and Drinks:
There will be food trucks onsite and every team will receive drink tickets for free beverages with additional beer and other libations available for purchase.
Please no outside Alcoholic Beverages!
Location and Parking:
The tournament will take place at Duke City Beaches, located at 10508 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
There is limited parking in front of the venue, so we suggest that all teams park along Towner Ave, behind the building. There is a back entrance and this is much closer to the location where teams will be setting up their pop ups.
Please don’t park at the businesses next door!

Put on your dancing cleats, it's time to celebrate! Join the New Mexico Brujos for the 2025 Wizardfest (AKA Rugby Prom), on Saturday, August 16th and celebrate the past year in Brujos rugby and honor the stand out players and dubious events that made the 2025 season one to remember. This year's ceremony will feature NM Brujos hall of fame inductions, player awards and more!
This year's event is being held at Hollow Spirits Distillery
Located at 1324 1st St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Festivities begin at 5 PM.
In addition, the New Mexico Brujos Annual General Meeting (AGM) is also going to be on Saturday, August 16th, earlier in the day. Location and time still TBD.
