The New Mexico Brujos hit the road last Saturday to represent the great state of NM at the 42nd Annual Northern Arizona 10s Rugby Tournament. The boys in blue went 1 and 2 at the tournament losing a close one to Red Mountain, grabbing a win over UNLV and suffering another loss to eventual tournament champs ASU Gold. As always thanks to the Landsharks for putting on a great tournament and entertaining social! The NM Brujos now have the week off before wrapping up the month of October with the High Desert 15s next weekend.

Fall practice is moving under the lights!
The days are getting shorter so the NM Brujos are taking practice under the lights! From now untill the end of the season NM Brujos practice will be at UNM's Johnson Field.
NM Brujos practice is every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 6 PM!
Johnson Field is located at 2401 Redondo Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106
New Players are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended

AYRU Announces Turkey Touch and Fall rookie rugby dates!
It's never to early to start putting late Fall/Winter rugby event dates on your calendar, and Albuquerque Youth Rugby has announced the date for this year's Turkey Touch Tournament. This year's tournament will take place on November 25th at 9 AM at North Domingo Baca Park. For more information as well as the registration link and team rules, please check back on the AYRU facebook page.
In addition AYRU will be running rookie rugby clinics every Saturday in November, so checkout their Facebook page and this blog for more details as they become available. The rugby players of tomorrow are today's youth, so get out there and support AYRU anyway you can!
