Brujos take 1st at Atomic Sister's 30th Anniversary Tourney! Rookie Rugby & Turkey Touch! Movember!

The New Mexico Brujos saved the best for last! This past weekend at the Atomic Sisters' 30th Anniversary Tournament the NM Brujos fielded not one, but two teams, and took home the hardware, winning first place in the men's division to cap off a busy fall tournament season. Thanks to the Atomic Sisters for a great tournament and congratulations on 30 years of local rugby excellence! The Brujos now turn their attention to helping out youth rugby the next two weeks (more an that below), before starting Winter practice the first Saturday in December (stay tuned for more details). Thanks to all the players, coaches, fans, family and friends who helped make this Fall season a memorable one! Spring league season is right around the corner, Que Viva!

Turkey Touch and Fall rookie rugby!

The Fall rugby tournament season is winding down but there's still plenty of rugby around the city and state including molding the next generation of rugby players! AYRU will be running rookie rugby clinics every Saturday in November. Two weekends is already in the books but there's still one weekend to go, so checkout their Facebook page for registration info.

In addition, Albuquerque Youth Rugby's Turkey Touch Tournament is only 3 weeks away! This year's tournament will take place on November 25th at 9 AM at North Domingo Baca Park. For more information as well as the registration link and team rules, please check out the AYRU facebook page.

The rugby players of tomorrow are today's youth, so get out there and support AYRU anyway you can!

Movember Returns!

It's Movember time again! Movember is a cause that raises awesomeness of men's health and aims to reduce some of the biggest health crises that affect men, specifically mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. In past years the NM Brujos have raised as much as $600! Let's see if we can top that this year!
