Rugby is for everyone! That was message last Saturday as the New Mexico Brujos and Atomic Sisters took to Central Ave to march in the 2025 ABQ Pride Parade and strut their stuff to a thrilled crowd.
The Brujos and Sisters and their family and friends of all ages dazzled the onlookers with line outs, passing drills and provided the heated crowd with a LOT of much needed water in various forms on a warm late morning and afternoon.
Above all the NM Brujos and Atomic Sisters showed the city and rugby fans everywhere that inclusivity and rugby continue to go hand in hand!

New Mexico's best are coming together this weekend in the battle of green chile bragging rights in a friendly against our visiting northern neighbors. Anyone who watched RGRU Rugby this last season knows the Brujos and Santos were the class of the State. Now these fierce but friendly rivals are teaming up this Saturday against visiting Vail Rugby. Even though Summer is usually reserved for 7s or even 5s (cough, Sandia Sandstorm, cough), this is a good old fashioned 15s friendly that local rugby enthusiasts won't want to miss! Que Viva!

With less than two months until the 2025 New Mexico Brujos Sandia Sandstorm Rugby Tournament, team slots are filling up fast with many teams from around the region such as El Paso, Los Alamos, The Ciudad Juarez Gallos and, of course, our good friends the Atomic Sisters, participating. Registration for the 2025 New Mexico Brujos 5 on 5 Sandia Sandstorm Tournament, scheduled for July 26th at the Duke City Beaches, is now open! And now you can get further involved by sponsoring the tournament (more on that below!)
This is gonna be a fabulous time at an amazing location, with men's and women's brackets, a dunk tank, DJs, and even Yoga sessions to keep everyone limber! And registration for a 12 person team is still only $300!

Summer 7s Practice and Community Touch Wednesdays!
The New Mexico Brujos kick off their Summer 7s season next Saturday, June 21st at the Sun City 7s in El Paso, so it's time to get in 7s shape!
Until further notice the NM Brujos will be holding 7s practice every Monday and Thursday at 6 PM.
