Happy November NM Brujos bloggers! Fall rugby marched on last week as the New Mexico Brujos went 2 and 1 and the 50th annual High Desert (Dirt) Tournament at its new location. Two of the Brujos wins came at the expense of a 36 to 0 win over UNM and a 14 to 10 win over the El Paso Scorpions. The Scorps will get a shot at revenge in two weeks (more on that below). The Brujos loss came at the hands of the tournament host Aardvarks. Thanks to the Varks for putting on the tournament and to all the teams that participated.

Next up for the New Mexico Brujos is a home match against the El Paso Scorpions on November 12th. The match is tentatively scheduled to be hosted at Phil Chacon Field South at 1 PM, but stay tuned to this blog next week for more details.

Our awesome fiends the Atomic Sisters have been on a roll as of late, taking first at both the Santa Fe 10s in September, and High Desert last weekend and 2nd place in Flagstaff in October, thus cementing their place as THE premier women's team in the region, so your support for this great group of local athletes is more important than ever!

Movember Returns!

It's Movember time again! Movember is a cause that raises awesomeness of men's health and aims to reduce some of the biggest health crises that affect men, specifically mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Last year the New Mexico Brujos raised $275, but in past years have raised as much as $600! Let's see if we can top that this year!

Remember If you can't grow a mustache there are other ways to get involved. You can pledge to Movember every day during the month or you can just fundraise and pass on info. Whatever you can do, please do. Let's see those stashes BruMos!
