Brujos corral Blacksheep in Prescott, 74 - 14. Host Phoenix in home opener in 2 weeks! Rio Rancho to host College Rugby Prep this weekend! Special kickoff practice this Saturday!


The New Mexico Brujos opened up their 2024 Spring Southwest Rugby Union season last Saturday winning 74 to 14 in Prescott against the host Blacksheep. In their first of 2 Arizona road games this season the Brujos were in control all day opening up a Grand Canyon sized 29 to 3 lead at halftime. The Brujos will look to continue their winning ways against our Western neighbors in 2 weeks when they host visiting Phoenix on March 2nd. Details for that game should be available early next week so stay tuned!


After that it's back to the Grand Canyon State on March 16th to visit the Flagstaff Landsharks, before returning home against Camelback on March 23rd. The Brujos will now finish their 2024 campaign against El Paso in Socorro on April 6th! It doesn't get more Southwest rugby than that!

Spring practice continues! Special Saturday practice!


The NM Brujos Spring SW Rugby Union season is fully underway after a convincing win in Prescott, so it's important to get out to practice and stay sharp!


NM Brujos Spring rugby practice is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 PM at UNM Johnson Field, located at 2401 Redondo Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.


In addition there's a special Saturday practice scheduled for this Saturday at Phil Chacon Field South to cover kickoffs, field position, and place kick practice with some touch afterward. Phil Chacon Field South is located directly south of the Cesar Chavez Community Center at 7505 Kathryn Ave SE #5260, Albuquerque, NM 87108


 New Players and all skill levels are always welcome! Cleats, mouthguard, and water very much recommended.
