Brujos take second in Denver 7s, Fall practice begins, and August Brujos news.
The Brujos unleashed some old fashioned Blue Magic at the 2018 Denver 7's Rugby Tournament this weekend, and earned a second place finish in the 2018 Denver 7’s social bracket! The Brujos went on a tear dispatching Vale 31 - 10, The Denver Fillers (Barbarian old boys) 24 - 12, and the Harlequins 31 - 7. A thrilling 22 - 17 overtime victory against former Rio Grande Celtic 7s champs the Gentlemen of Aspen sent the Brujos into the championship match. The Brujos ultimately fell to Littleton 22 - 12, but a very strong second place finish at a stacked tournament like Denver7s bodes very for the upcoming 2018 Fall season.
Fall Practice Begins August 14th.
Speaking of the Fall season, practice for the upcoming Fall 2018 campaign begins on Tuesday, August 14th @ 6 PM on UNM's Johnson Field. Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday, and Johnson Field will be the location for now until further notice.
