Brujos take 2nd @ Fiesta 10s, face UNM this weekend.

Last Sunday the NM Brujos kicked off their 2019 Fall campaign on a relative high note, finishing second in the 2019 Fiesta 10s tournament. The Brujos started off a long day of rugby by playing to all even the Santa Fe Santos. After the tie the Brujos would sprint into the finals by winning two decisive games against the Bad News Bears and the El Paso Scorpions. The tournament trophy however, was not be theirs on Sunday, as they fell 19 - 7 in the title match to their crosstown rivals the Albuquerque Aardvarks. On the bright side, a second place finish this early in the season bodes well for the Brujos, as they have at least two more tournaments to look forward to this fall.

The Brujos Fall 2019 season continues this Saturday, September 7th as the NM Brujos take on the UNM Lobos. The Brujos/Lobos match is the last match of a triple header and doesn't begin until 5:45. However the festivities start at 1 PM, so why not come early and enjoy a full day of rugby. What are Saturday's for after all?
