Brujos at 2019 Pride fest, Gladiator's halftime exhibition a success, and other June Brujos news

The NM Brujos are doing the 2019 Pride Parade. The theme this year is "Remember the Past, Create the Future". The parade starts at UNM Johnson area Parking lot and goes all the way to the Expo NM fair grounds. Wear your rugby gear and represent NM Brujos with pride! The parade starts at 10, but volunteers need to be there at 8. If you can volunteer please fill out the spread sheet: Design Committee: This committee will meet 3 times: Initial planning and design, Project status evaluation, Day of event for decoration and set up. Parade Volunteering: This role will have you either walking along the route, possibly participating in passing the ball, handing out beads, doing line outs, sitting on the truck, having fun! Dogs are allowed on the route, please clean up after your pups. Table Volunteering: The Brujos will have a table at the PrideFest event this year! This is great for recruiting, making the community aware of our presence, and a great opportunity to sell merchandise. Volunteering for a shift just means that you will talk up the Brujos and rugby in general, light recruiting, and selling merchandise. Remember you represent the Organization so be in Brujos gear.

Exhibition Match at Gladiators halftime a success:

On Saturday May 25th the NM Brujos played an exhibition match during halftime of the Duke City gladiators game.

The event was a huge success in terms of rugby awareness and team exposure. So much so that the Brujos are doing it again, on June 22nd. Tailgate starts at 3 PM, pregame at 5:30 PM, kickoff at 6 PM. This should be an excellent opportunity to showcase Brujos and NM rugby, and for recruitment as well. Come in your rugby/Brujos gear and cheer on two great NM sports! Anyone interested in tickets should contact
