Brujos to kick off Spring 2019 season this weekend against visiting Marauders. 2019 Rio Grande Rugby

The long wait is over. For the NM Brujos and their fans it seemed as if the much anticipated spring season would never get here. After a fall season that left the Brujos atop the standings in the Rio Grande Rugby Union, and brought home a share of two regional tournament titles, the spring season is once again full of opportunity and promise. And that season kicks off this Saturday against the visiting Northside Marauders out of Denver. The Marauders are currently 3-1 in division 4 in the Rocky Mountain Rugby union and should provide a tough test for the Brujos ahead of their March 16th Rio Grande Rugby Union season kickoff against the Varks. So come on out to Phil Chacon Park (7600 Southern Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108) this Saturday, March 9th at 1 PM, and root on your Brujos as they begin what could be, an awesome finish to an already great season.

The 2019 Spring Rio Grande Rugby Union Season Starts March 16th

The NM Brujos 2019 Spring Rio Grande Rugby Union Match schedule is right around the corner. For now the Brujos are scheduled to play their home games at Phil Chacon Park, but stay tuned to your favorite local rugby blog (that would be here) and the Brujos facebook page for any last minute changes.
