NM Brujos AGM for 2020 Announced, Brujos Donate Balls for Youth Rugby, and Other August Brujos News.
Recently New Mexico Youth Rugby and Albuquerque Youth Rugby expressed their gratitude to the New Mexico Brujos Rugby Club for their contribution of $1000 that led to the purchase of 200 new balls for youth rugby in the city and state. Contributions to the new ball effort were also received from Sandia Aviation and Southwest Native Consultants. For those of you unfamiliar with NMYR and AYRU, they are an all-volunteer registered non-profit whose sole purpose is to provide an all-inclusive rugby league with a safe, structured playing environment for the youth of Albuquerque and surrounding area. The Brujos are committed to their partnership and mentor-ship with all facets of youth rugby in the city and state, and look forward to seeing them back on the pitch as soon as possible when it's safe to do so.
AGM 2020 Announced:
The New Mexico Brujos Annual Meeting will (unfortunately) take place online this year via Zoom. The meeting is scheduled for noon on Saturday August 22nd. Attendance is important because we will be electing a new board and discussing the upcoming (or lack thereof) rugby season(s). The Zoom link will be posted on the Brujos facebook page days leading up to the meeting and has most likely been emailed to everyone, so check those emails (spam folders too). See you on Zoom Brujos!
