#PrideInRugby scores big, date for Rugby is a drag announced, and other October Brujos news.

On a picture perfect fall Saturday in Albuquerque, the New Mexico Brujos dazzled in the first annual #PrideInRugby Fiesta, and organizers are already looking toward next year's event. The Brujos won their two matches against the visiting Phoenix Storm and Dallas Diablos respectively, with Dallas winning their match against Phoenix. The real winner however was the tournament itself, which garnered an amazing amount of local, and even some national, attention for the cause of LGBTQ Rugby, and the Brujos continued mission of inclusiveness. The event was so well received and the vibe around it so positive, that there seems to be no question as to whether this will become an annual event and permanent regional rugby fixture. A huge debt of gartitude goes out to our tournament partners the Phoenix Storm and Dallas Diablos, we couldn't have done it wothout you guys and look forward to making it bigger and better next year. See you next year!

Next up for the Brujos

The High Desert Rugby Classic on Saturday, October 26th, at USS Bullhead Park. More details here.
